Description

Reporting to the President of Sales, the Account Executive will focus on a range of event marketing services; lead qualification, prospecting, presentations, and closing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with growing their businesses through full-service exhibit design product and service solutions.
  • Must initiate phone calls to potential client base and implement new sales strategies.
  • Work closely with prospects to understand their business objectives and take a consultative approach to selling.
  • Ability to navigate complicated sales processes required.
  • Excellent time management, communication skills, decision making, human relations, presentation, and organization skills required.
  • Ability to work comfortably with large amounts of phone, computer and email usage in conjunction with face-to-face meetings and presentations required;
  • Professional appearance and proficiency at presenting products to a group required.
  • Ability to explain trade show design solutions to a non-technical audience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to operate in a very fast paced environment with multiple high-level priorities required.
  • Strong planning skills to determine and meet departmental objectives
  • Ability to be organized, self-sufficient, highly self-motivated and to work independently.
  • Potential for out-of-town travel but not required.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be detail oriented and know the importance of documenting discussions held with customers and prospects.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills; engaging communicator.
  • A pragmatic approach and the ability to thrive under pressure of constant change and moving targets.

Creative, adaptable, persistent and flexible with strong project management skills, ensuring the entire sales process is carried through to on-time delivery.
